 Pliffs
Pliffs are a companion species for vespers! They are little sentient moss/plant balls that are full of so much of their own personalities- the best description i can give is some are like cats, some like dogs- so on and so forth
The Interesting thing about pliffs, is each pliff has a vesper or a different species companion that they were breathed life into for! They live the lifespan of their intended owner- Often times during the spring, the newly bloomed pliffs will float in the local rivers and will drift until they feel a connection and make their way to their new owner, often times their new owner will feel the same connection and seek out the pliff- Pliffs and their owners have unbreakable bonds

>Their Blood is naturally Teal-Green
>Feels fluffy but are made of Moss and Leaf Matter Mainly!
>They absorb sunlight for energy
>Eat the bugs that are harmful to vesper huts!
>The leaves on them twirl when they fall from the trees, bc they are so light, pliffs are able to float down
>Often rely on vespers and other species to bring them back up onto the trees
>A lot of things eat pliffs, owls and foxs, etc, vespers protect their little pets
>They freeze and vibrate aggressively if they get too excited
>Peeps and Pips are their normal sounds!
>Will bring their vesper gifts, like a pretty leaf or flower
>They have one vesper they attach to very deeply! This is the vesper they bring gifts to
>V v light, can be punted easily
>Main mode of moving around is little bunny hops! Or skittering
>Water doesn't bother them at all, in spring you'll find a bunch of pliffs in the waters!! Usually making them very packed, this is often times where vespers find and adopt their pliffs
>Pliffs often live their connected vespers lifespan- they are very loyal companions
>Each and Every pliff is different in their own unique ways!!
